Mission Statement
Allergy UK exists to represent the views and needs of people with allergy, food intolerance and chemical sensitivity. The Food Intolerance Awareness division was created to specifically address the growing problem of Food Intolerance.
We aim to achieve our goals by:
- Promoting wellbeing for people with food intolerance by way of knowledge and support via counselling and befriending.
- Empowering people with food intolerance to take control of and manage their condition.
- Enabling people with food intolerance to receive appropriate diagnosis and treatment through education of healthcare professionals and the provision of dedicated services.
- Educating corporate bodies in the need for products suitable for food intolerance.
- Conducting on-going medical and social research into the causes and impact of food intolerance.
